by Andrea Knezovic

Looking for the best mobile game conferences in Asia?

You’re in luck!

I’ve put together a list of must-visit Asian mobile game events, including online, hybrid, and in-person conferences.

All of them offer the opportunity to keep up with what’s happening in the mobile gaming industry and learn about the latest growth strategies.

Furthermore, mobile game conferences are the perfect place for networking. Developers can find publishers, partners, or investors. This is perhaps the top benefit of attending B2B mobile game industry events.

Here are mobile game conferences in Asia we recommend.

1. MGS Asia

Mobile Growth Associations’ conference in Asia is a one-day publisher-focused event with over 200 attendees, more than 150 companies, and 25 speakers.

You’ll get the opportunity to connect with other mobile app and game developers and learn from top app marketing and monetization experts. More specifically, you can learn how to acquire more users, monetize an app/game, and keep users engaged.

The speakers for this MGS Asia event haven’t been announced yet. But the previous MGS speakers included industry leaders from companies like Mooko Media, Elevate Labs, Rakuten, Kabam, Snapchat, CleverTap, Robosoft, and others.

This is hands down the best mobile game conference in Asia.

The first two days of the event are for industry and press only. However, the last two days are open to the masses.

The Tokyo Game Show features booths from the top video game, console game, and mobile game publishers, including a few indie booths as well.

For Asian developers, Gamescom Asia is an ideal place to explore opportunities and partnerships in order to reach a global audience.

On the other hand, non-Asian studios see it as a chance to learn about the Asian market – one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.

It is both a B2B and B2C event that welcomes developers who want to showcase their games,  as well as game fans looking for entertainment.

Yes, augmented reality was a thing even back then.

The event isn’t intended for people from the game industry only, but for other XR companies and experts as well.

However, with the rising trend of enhanced reality in mobile gaming, AWE Asia is the place to be. Whether you’re already utilizing AR/VR in your games, or you’re looking to join the industry, at this event, you’ll learn everything you need to know.
